It’s a real struggle for me to put on weight, and that’s not as nice as it sounds. I’m always cold, and ill and tired.
I’ve been actively trying to put on weight for about 6 years but I’ve largely stayed the same weight, and if by some miracle I manage to put some on it burns off just as quickly.
I’ll keep trying…

10 years after I first asked my parents for drum lessons I have the money and inclination to do it myself.
I’m really enjoying taking lessons, learning new techniques and understanding the theory behind the drums, I’ve been playing for about 3 months, and I finally have an electric kit at home too.
Anyone wanting to learn, what’s stopping you? Just go out and make a start, if you do a little bit every day then you’ll be making serious progress in no time.

I’m a mixed race lass living in the UK, and I hate having to go to the hairdresser.
Because I have West Indian hair I get my hair chemically straightened so I can cope with how thick and wavy it normally is.
The process takes my currently hairdresser too long, it’s always packed, and the chemicals burn my scalp, forcing me to stay there for hours as the stuff is left in, washed out, blow dried, straightened and cut.
By the time it gets around to my hair having a cut, I’ve normally been in the salon for 3-4 hours and I just want to get out. So I never try anything new.
I need to pluck up the courage to go to another salon sometime and get the fringe I’ve always wanted cut in.
