During my plane flight to Paris, I was looking out the window because I couldn’t sleep, and I noticed something shimmering faintly in the distance. I smashed my face up against the window (because getting nose grease on the window obviously helped me see better) and once I realized that it was the northern lights, I watched them nonstop for two hours without ever getting tired of it.

I got a beautiful tattoo of two flowers on my ankle. It cost $150, and I passed out while the man was tattooing me, but I am so happy with it, because it was everything that I wanted.
It’s worth it if you work for the right place. I work at a rich restaurant in a rich town, so I make good tips even on a bad night. And considering that I’m just starting out (which makes for a lot of bad nights, believe me.) and I’m still leaving with $50-100 per 3 1/2 hour shift, I’d say that that’s some good money. Although the tradeoff is minimum wage and taxes taken our of your tips, leading to pretty small paychecks ($44 for 10 hours. eesh.) But if you can get a job with a steady, reliable salary where you don’t have to do too much manual labor, I would reccomend that instead.
