Definitely. I can feel the difference. It’s not perfect all the time, naturally, but the majority of the time, I know it’s much better than what it used to be!

How I did it: I went through a school trip, after having learnt Japanese for about three years. It was amazing fun, got to challenge myself and found that picking up the language is not that hard once I was immersed in the culture. Heaps of fun, I loved Tokyo and Kyoto! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Took a flyer/postcard from my walk around town, which had a relevant image on it. Wrote my secret, stamped it, sent it off. Just go for it, really :) And don't mind if it's not published on the site.. it's just fun sending one off. Read how I did it…
How I did it: - walk everywhere in stead of taking the bus, including to the supermarket- go to the gym every second day and do cardio- play squash on the days I don't go to the gym- enrol in some new classes, eg. salsa dancing, pump class. Read how I did it…

and gives me a small sense of “hurrah” whenever I spot something small, and beautiful. There are little bits of street art dotted around this city, and I’ve been keeping an eye out for them. It’s awesome because they can be quite subtle, you never know when you can spot one, and it feels like a small achievement when you do. And it’s like the artist wants you to see it, but it’s not mainstream!
It amazes me, these days, when I talk to certain friends and they never notice these things. Like they live through life in oblivion.
There’s a lot out there to spot :)
I don’t think I ever will. Procrastination = mandatory for a student. I mean, even being on this site..
