A few months I go to bed earlier now and it’s such a great decision each night. I feel better in the mornings – most of the time. I am more balanced and concentrated than before. Even on weekends I am able to leave but at 8 o’clock and do stuff, solve problems, be active.

Leaving the church was so worth it. I left church by the age of 17 in early March and there wasn’t a moment of regret since then. I never believed in god or in the things teacher tried to teach me in school – even though I’ve always visited catholic schools. (And still do, as a matter of fact.) I still haven’t told all my relatives – not because I am to coward, it’s more because there’s no relative who ever asked me about my opinion towards religion, church and all that stuff. My mum knows and my friends and I am fine with that. But if anybody asks me, for example at Christmas, something I don’t even wanna celebrate anymore, I am not going to lie. (Even though that is not going to happen. The asking, I mean.)
