How I did it: We have two cars and essentially my car was used to just drive back and forth to work. Except, my wife also works a few blocks away (albeit with a flexible, unpredictable schedule due to the nature of her work). It just made no sense to keep driving when there is a bus that stops in front of my apartment and takes me to a few blocks away from my office.
