As much as i hate to admit it.. Root Beer, Dew, and Tea are slowly killing me. They’re shedding seconds off of my life with each sip. This may take years to achieve.. lord knows i’m addicted to coffee..

No more babel-fish for me. I intend on knowing what those pesky mexicans are whispering when they’re looking at me. (The question is, Do I want to?) ...No more staring blankly at my French teacher… and certainly no more need for subtitles when watching a foreign film. [nods heads decisively]
But, I also want to learn because, well.. hey, it’s another language. Also, it’s been scientifically proven that learning a new language opens up centers in your brain that have long been dorment, therefore heightening your intelligence. And really, who doesn’t need a shot of brain juice?
By the time I graduate I will have just turned eighteen, and before I go back to school in the fall i think that it’d be a great experience to backpack through Europe and take in all the culture that is offered. From what little I’ve researched the getting there, lodging, and transportation it would be pretty inexpensive since i would be going on a student visa. My major concern is the actual being there and not being completely clueless to their ways.
