My first phase trainer is 3 weeks behind on DOR’s for me. He also has my recruit book right now. I’m on a different shift with a different trainer now, so I’ve got some serious catching up to do in order to finish up my first phase paperwork.

How I did it: I was tased in the Dallas Police Academy last week as part of my TASER certification. In terms of duration alone, it's certainly more bearable than other types of pain that cause discomfort for extended periods of time (one ride only lasts 5 seconds) ... but in terms of the pain itself, all 42 people in my recruit class agreed that it's the most painful thing one can experience and survive. I’ve flossed once per day for almost every day since I added this goal. That hasn’t been very long, though. My goal is to floss every day of November before I am willing to consider myself to truly be in the habit again.
Suburbia has never been where I’ve pictured myself owning a home. I live downtown now and love it, but we’re still renting. Whenever we’ve paid off our student loans / increased our savings and are ready for a house, we’ll most definitely be looking at high-rises in our area. Excited!
