I’ve decided on what to get for my tattoo. It’s from Tim Burton’s poetry “The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy” – Voodoo Girl.
Her skin is white cloth,
and she’s all sewn apart
and she has many colored pins
sticking out of her heart.
She has many different zombies
who are deeply in her trance.
She even has a zombie
who was originally from France.
But she knows she has a curse on her,
a curse she cannot win.
For if someone gets
too close to her,
the pins stick farther in.
Now if I can only decide where I want it….And while the poem itself really speaks to me, I want to make the event something even more memorable, so the when has yet to arrive. Plus there’s the minor nuances of finding a good artist and the funds to do it…But I’m in no hurry. I’ve had this picture as wall paper on my cell phone for a couple of years now, so at least I know it’s not something I grow tired of easily.

Oh my Goodness! I got a part in a musical/drama/mystery play that comes out in April! I play this quirky mysterious beautician who collects used facial masks from her customers as mini soul canvases lol We’ve only had a couple of rehearsals so far but it’s been really random and fun. The other actors are all very experienced so I’m slightly intimidated but they’re super nice and not snotty at all (like the models I used to work with….Boy were they annoying) These actors are so diverse in their performances and their life styles, I feel like I’m learning so much from them. It’s definitely an intellectually stimulating environment. And so far, I don’t suck and I’m having a blast! But I’m already thinking about starting a fitness regime since we’ll be performing for 2 weeks straight and sometimes with back-to-back shows…Arrggh I’m so excited!
