Barring some unforseen administrative technicality, I finished my last semester of university this December. I was taking six classes to wrap up everything, instead of the normal five, and now I just have to wait for my final marks to come in, checking every hour, obsessively, to see if they’ve posted any. I’m almost certain that I passed everything. The two marks I have back are the two classes that I was most worried about, however, I’m still waiting to see how I did on the rest of them. Did I completely mess something up? Did my professors lose all of my records? I wrote the right exam, right?!
Convocation isn’t until May, so even after I have all of my marks, I have to wait until the spring for official permission to graduate, which is when administrative technicalities come into play. Then I have to wait until the end of May to finally receive my diploma. Until then, I wait.
