I came across Remember the Milk and decided to try it for my to-do list. It seems to be designed for power users, so I’m still a little lost, but the features I’m learning about are cool. It has an iCal feed that you can add to your Google Calendar. It can also send text reminders to your phone. I like that you can set up to-dos as re-occuring…that’ll be perfect for including chores that aren’t weekly. We’ll see how it goes.

How I did it: I'm using a Nesco Snackmaster with 4 extra add on trays...so nothing fancy. I'm quadrupling my growing space next year so I hope to save up for an Exaclibur to help me preserve for winter. You can dehydrate darn near anything. A lot comes from my garden. And wonderfully frugal advantage for grocery shopping is that you can watch for sales and stock up on your favorite fresh produce, canned goods, and frozen foods to prese… Read how I did it…
I’ve been very happy with this one. I don’t have enough space to grow grain now, so I’m just buying in bulk. Fresh milled flour is wonderfully moist and makes for a great bread. I have a hand mill so it builds good arm muscles too :)
I saw an idea for making a half apron from a pillowcase at Simple Green Frugal Co-Op. I’ve been wanting an apron for a long time and it sounds like a good beginner project using inexpensive materials. Posting this link so I can try it when I’m ready :)
