How I did it: Decided to take an off-season Break with my better half. Booked the accomodation 60 days ahead. Planned out the journey and the mode of transport. We decided to do the journey by road. Pune to Margao (Goa) is about 500km. It can be done in one day but we didn't want to do it in a hurry. We wanted to enjoy the greenery and waterfalls on the way!
