So I got in line about 6am and finally got out around 11am. Playing the Old Course is flat out a blast. I played pretty crappy actually from tee to green although I made a bunch of putts and shot an 80. Hit a great drive over the hotel on the Road Hole, then a great five wood onto the green, then three putted! Oh the sadness. Then I was able to get up and down for par on 18 in front of a “gallery” which was pretty great. The next day I went to Carnoustie and got bludgeoned but that’s a different story for a different day.

An amazing place and the Ashtanga was great. Now I need to take some serious time off and go to Mysore and practice with Jois.
I’ve spent three years doing parts of the Camino .. started back in France at Le Puy and made it all the way this year to Burgos in Spain . But I really didn’t like the Spain part nearly as much as the part in France – much more crowded, one big fire trail, not as much real pilgrim feeling … just was disappointed. I hope I recover my zeal for it somehow and finish.
