So I was talking with a friend about losing wieght and she said that she, like me, lacks motivation. So starting this tuesday we will be going to the gym together. Nothing motivates like a good support system.

How I did it: I started opening up more to my coworkers and associates. Not purposely at first but It started to make the work day go by faster. I also left my self more available for some of the man y social events that my friends take part in. I also started a blog and there are a lot of people who think like i do. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was a kid when i found my four leaf clover I remember being really happy that all my persistence paid off but I also remember being really upset that It was time for me to come inside for the day and i didn't get to skip rope or do any of the other things on my "little kid itinerary" So i would say it really boils down to what it means to you. there’s a particular time each month that I just say to hell with everything. I’m in too much pain to worry about how i look so i whip out the fat-pants and my hair goes back into a sloppy ponytail because I’m too uncomfortable to give a damn about how unattractive i look.
Bad Habit right?
This time around i didn’t wear the fat pants but i did opt on a bigger/less skin tight shirt so that i could still be comfortable. I also did my eye makeup. it was barely a change from my regular habits but that little bit made me feel less hideous. it didn’t make my stomach feel better, but it didn’t make it feel worse either. Plus I felt a little pretty. which is rare for that particular week of the month :)
So I eat 3 to 4 small meals a day and I’ve been forcing myself to get more sleep over the past two weeks and while my friends and family are telling me that i look much thinner, the scale isn’t reflecting it. I know it’s important to lose inches too but I’m getting antsy. I’m getting complimented and its motivating me to really do it to it.
My mom said that it sounded like my metabolism needed a kick-start, So i started walking home from work everyday which is just over 2 miles. It’s not some huge distance I get that but it’s more exercise than I’d do if i took the 5 minute drive to and from work. Plus I’m saving on gas so It’s win/win!
