I’ve had this macbook since Aug 2007. the battery started to expand about 1.5 to 2 years later (i forget) and I took it out. I waited too long to replace it and the warranty didn’t cover it anymore. I had to buy a new battery, but ti was worth it. I use my macbook so much more now. i can walk around the house again or lay in bed and not have to sit at a desk again after doing ti for 8-10 hours at work all day. I do have my eye on the macbook air but i’m doing a lot of video and photo editing, it won’t be powerful enough (I think). My Macbook is barely powerful enough.

How I did it: I created a script to place on my website. I wanted to learn so I could display my feed on my website and I am in the process of creating an Adobe Air app so I needed to learn to create one. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I read the book Bulletproof Ajax, but it wasn't until I watched the podcast "The Art of Code" that it started to make sense. I reread the first couple of chapters of the book again while typing up my own cheat sheet and now it makes sense.Don't confuse AJAX with the all the Javascript libraries that are out there (YUI, JQuery, Mootools ...etc). Some of them have AJAX built in but they don't == AJAX. They are just libraries. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I started a MFA program and one of the classes is a photography class. I had to get one. The assignment asked for a lot of manual setting to be changed. I nor do my pockets regret it :-). Read how I did it…

I haven’t “mastered” photoshop, but I am pretty good at it. I Know what most of the tools do and can get done anything I need to get done. Adobe changes PS with every version so it’s not really accurate to say you’ve mastered Photoshop. There will always be new tools and many different ways to use them. You just need to know what all the tools are, examples of how to use them in real situation, and build upon that.
I’m trying to decide what I mean by this. Either I am finally done with my student loans and don’t owe anything anymore or it means I don’t have to use my credit card to buy things, I always have money to pay bills, buy things I want/need and have a a decent amount in savings account.
