cardio kickboxing twice a week plus two other activities a week (like walking, tennis, pilates, yoga) have really gotten me somewhere.
I feel healthier! I am positive I fit into more of my clothes, which is great, but I still have a ways to go. The scale says I am 5 lbs lighter and I will keep going for 15 more pounds, which is realistic, but would really like to be thin for once in my life, so I will try to motivate myself to shoot for 10 more lbs after that too! For now, I shoot for losing 5 lbs at a time, which keeps me from getting frustrated or overwhelmed, and every week all I do is try to exercise 4-5 times, and that adds up every week. Baby steps are the best steps!
The gym I go to is closing for 2 wks then reopening, so I will need to find another way to get the exercise I need. I think I will get a two week pass to 24hr fitness and go to those classes.
As long as the instructor is motivating, group fitness classes are definitely the way to go.
