Although I really don’t like dogs – I’ve wanted one for about 5 years…and I finally bought one about 1 1/2 month ago after, literally, years of research. This is not a decision that should be made lightly – it is a long term commitment. The first 2 weeks were HARD! Sleepless nights, some frustration…not to scare anyone from getting a pet. BUT – I’m now in week 6 and things have gotten much much better. I’m constantly amazed at how much he makes me laugh…
I’ve been keeping my eyes open to get a feel of what can be had and at what cost. My goal is to be move for the month of April/May 2007. It’s a bit hard because the apartments I like (hard wood floors, molding etc.) are in the west end of the city and I don’t want to move there…we’ll see.
