Uhu, I am not sure when it became clear that this is something I wanted to do, but the other day, while thinking about it, I registered for the LA Marathon. I have been living in LA for a bit and it seems like a good time to participate. My prediction is that it will be fun (ask me again after I’ve finished) and challenging. There is no magic finishing time as a goal, instead, I’d like to use the marathon as a platform to raise money for a fave non-profit, run the 26.2 miles straight through at a steady pace, and cross the finish line.

Shiny 15” 2.33 GHz MacBook Pro bought for my favorite sister (heh, I only have one). The side story to this is that she’s had it for a few months now (it was bought last year, for Christmas) and loves it. Photos to follow.
My accountant sent me home with “homework.” That is, to put all of my finances in Quicken and bring in extra paperwork. I am meeting with her again a week from tomorrow.
