It appears that you can’t sit idle and expect anthing to change. Sometimes you have to do something stupid, that you thought you’dd never do. I’m glad, I made the right call. Life is grand :)

And i began reading Ajax for dummies. It’s a nice book. I’dd deffinetly recommend it, but I found my self writing a few methods that I was using over and over. I couldn’t help thinking, “hey, wouldn’t it be cool to write my own collection of functions with my new understanding of xhr?” Unfortunetly the code became rather complex and buggy. So, no.. it wasn’t cool. Many days later I learned about a few java script ajax libraries such as prototype or spry, made by some very smart people. One problem though, what happens if I encounter problems, I mean, how could I debug that code ? I guess it’s a risk I’ll have to take. I don’t know ajax, but I understand how it works; I belive this is enough for us average mortals.
Mysql, a speed demon, too bad it doesn’t support foreign keys. Sometimes you feel like cursing and swearing because of this (and i never swear, but it makes me feel like it, wich is a bad thing), but you know, most of the times it is more than enough. So yeah, worth doing! :)
