I want to be a college professor, I’m fairly sure about that. BUT, I’m so lazy! I spend soo much time dilly dallying. I really need to get my act together to get a 4.0 this quarter. I really hope I didn’t flunk my computer midterm. I can’t afford any C’s. shit. Ok, I need to ace 310, which means taking enough fish oil to control my ADD, and a renewed dedication to studying. I also need to start tutoring at the local CC so that I can get a job there. Now i need to overcome my laziness and do it!

This sorta goes hand in hand with the make new friends thing. I don’t really have anyone to talk to since I moved back to suburbia. I always got spiritual comfort out of the small groups I attended back in SD. It helped me face another week.
Anyway, I really want to attend some sort of weekly spiritual gathering where I can meet some people and hopefully some new friends. And to that end, my first mini goal will be to attend a church event this week and report back on it here.
Ok, it is time to get going on this, mostly because I’m sick of having no money :). The first thing I want to do is get a job as an SAT tutor. My first step toward achieving this will be to take a practice test by 10/24/09. I’ll track my scores here to keep myself accountable. I figure I need to score at least in the 90th percentile to get a job with a company like Kaplan or Princeton Review.
