I have finally completed one of my forty-three things!! I was going to start with learning how to make vector images, but I figured it would be best to start with the big stuff and work my way down! DEFINITELY WORTH DOING!! I don’t have to live with that hanging over my head anymore, and it feels amazing. Also, my parents have quit bugging me about grandchildren! ;)

After a childhood wrapped up in books and an adolescence wrapped up in computers, I tend to lack basic conversational skills. I have a tendency to get flustered and uncomfortable, and start fidgeting and/or turning red, while laughing nervously after every few sentences. It isn’t pretty. I long to be one of those people who can casually discuss current events, the weather, and whatever the hell else might come up, without choking and longing to be somewhere else.
Not that I need them, I just like the way they look. I used to wear an extremely mild perscription, back in junior high (for the same reason), but they were eventually stepped on and never replaced. I was going to get another pair this past spring, but I couldn’t find frames that I liked. And, you know, when you don’t have a real reason for getting them in the first place, such things can seriously delay the process.
