How I did it: I started at age 9 with a private tutor, and throughout school I continued to take French. Once in college, I placed into honors 200 level French, and found that it was what made me happiest. I worked hard, transferred schools so that I could get funding to go abroad, and studied abroad for a semester in NW France. I started while studying abroad, and have a lot of wonderful photographs from all over France, and Stockholm, Geneva, London, and Berlin. My new goals are: Florence, Rome, Pompeii, Barcelona, Sevilla, Vigo, Porto, Vienna, Prague, Strasbourg, Annecy, Venice, etc etc

live in Paris for a year

All my life, I’ve wanted to go to France to see Monet’s garden in Giverny. This past spring I succeeded in achieving this goal by studying abroad in Nantes for 5 months, and I fell in love with France. I’m about to graduate college, and more than anything I want to work and live in Paris. It is the most amazing city ever, and I must get back ASAP!
