How I did it: I finally took the leap and dyed my hair blonde, however, I have to tell you, my hair took serious beating (too strong for my hair - causing breakage).  Now that I've been there and done that, I have no plans for doing it again, EVER :).  I'll purchase a wig, if the phase hits me again :) Read how I did it…

How I did it: We saved money, stopped making excuses and allowed ourselves to enjoy some of the benefits we earned.One of the awesome benefits of being retired military is that lodging in Hawaii can be dirt cheap when you compare to the rates of top chain hotels.  During our vacation in Hawaii, my husband and I decided to do some hotel hopping, we stayed at the Navy Lodge in Honolulu (exceptionally nice) we had a room with a full kitchen and water… Read how I did it…

It’s been many, many years since Lisa and I were in touch. When I relocated from Georgia to Virginia back in 1996, we spoke a few times by telephone but then lost touch.
