I’ve like his music since I can remember. He’s a lyrical genius, but at the same time you have to wonder what’s behind some the sinister if not off putting songs he writes. No matter what direction he decides to take Brand New’s music, I will always, always love them. The songs hit home in so many ways I cannot even begin to describe. Having an intellectual conversation with this guy would be the most amazing thing in the world. Possibly. I’m hoping it would be at least. Sometimes conversations with those we put on a pedestal end up in such a huge disappointment that it’s almost worth imagining it forever…

How I did it: I kept all my water bottles and filled them up with tap water since I didn't want to make a thousand trips to the grocery store. I started carrying a bottle with me everywhere I went and replaced all the sodas and other drinks I had in the fridge. It was kind of annoying and frustrating because I got sick of having to remember to drink it. And you end up making several more trips to the bathroom than you want. But my skin and metabolism i… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It took me about a month to figure out how to make the food I enjoyed eating at restaurants in my own home, but I looked up recipes online and found out how quick and easy some foods are. I really don't like waiting around cooking but after finding 20-30 minute meals, I kind of enjoyed the fact that I made it all by myself. Going to the grocery store is fun too because you get all these ideas in your head and experimenting is part of that… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Several factors went into how I made it so easy for myself. My boyfriend and most of my friends live in San Francisco...no need to dress to impress in Hawaii. Especially Paia. No one gives a rats ass about what you look like. So now I get in the shower, do my hair and walk out the door. No need for make up, or fancy clothes. I just wear whatever I feel like and the weather is so nice you don't need many layers. It's a lot simpler here. Read how I did it…

I want to give to small charities but like a lot of money or clothes or food, whatever. The small ones are the ones who can’t get as much publicity because of financial issues or lack of interest from the public. I hope that some day I’d be able to travel for some time and lend my help to anyone who needs it. For all kinds of organizations. My list is so long, but I feel like being one person it’ll be hard to do. But that’s where the fun comes in. Donating and helping others in need is something I’ve always been lucky enough to do. But traveling specifically for that reason would make the experience that much better.
I want to adopt a puppy from the pound once I move back to California. I want it to know that someone cares and is willing to drastically improve his/her overall well-being. Also the companionship is such a reward in itself that I think it would be well worth the effort and money. Plus most dogs get along very well with Chinchilla’s and mine needs a buddy.
