Ha, a month into college and I remember this site and this old list of mine. Well, I guess I can cross this task off.
College isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be, and man, it’s so annoying to hear myself saying that. I heard it so many times Senior year of high school and I always thought the person telling me was just being pompous….
It’s true, though. Or at least in my case it is. I go to a semi suburban all women’s college right outside Philadelphia. I’m sad to say my college is very…13th grade-ish. I mean, yeah, coming from a single-sex high school to a single-sex college, I knew to expect the pettiness, it comes with the all-female environment. [Sorry, ladies. you know it’s true, though.] But, i was surprised to find that this place was worse off than my high school in the immaturity department. I’m not Miss Maturity, don’t get me wrong, I’m not claiming to be, I was just expecting…I don’t know, Something less likely to be found on the grade school playground. [God, I’m such a bitch.] I’m trying to make the best of it, though, really I am. I’m just really wondering what’s in store for me. here it seems as though the upper class men are worse off than the incoming freshmen. I wonder if that is where I will be in 4 years…
