I’ve sent in two postcards so far, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
When I sent in my first postcard, I had hid it from everyone. I kept it in a little box, debating whether to send it or not. I waited weeks, then finally when I had to house to myself, I put stamps on it and went to the post office. I was so nervous to let my secret out there. It was something I had never told anyone, and it had been crippling me for years.
Once I finally got up courage and sent it, I was freed from my secret’s curse. It was amazing! I can actually talk about it now without feeling ashamed or embarassed.
