I have designed most of my tattoos(nine out of 13), and it’s awesome. It’s something that nobody else has, and it means something. You create something personal. It’s just for you. It’s such a great feeling.

Here’s what I have thus far, and I have grand plans for the rest of it. The general idea – a cowgirl pinup riding on a rocket into outer space, with the desert in the distance far below(my first tattoo was a small cactus on my lower back, and the floral piece reminds me of something that would be embroidered on a western shirt). I’m still trying to decide what I want to incorporate into the piece as a whole, and just how to tie it all together.
I’m aching to get something pierced. I’m immersed in it on a daily basis – I am a piercing apprentice, and I assist, as well as do, piercings at work every single day. The problem is, I’m running out of room! I have 31 piercings thus far -
-Ears(starting at the lobe, six in a row on either side)
-Helix(x2)
-Tragus(x2)
-Rook(x2)
-Conch(x2)
-Industrial
-Anti-tragus
-Anti-helix
-Nose
-Navel
-Nipple(x4 – both are done horizontally and vertically)
-Hood(x2 – also horizontal and vertical)
I’m not done yet, though. Not by a long shot. It’s become such a part of my life that I’ve chosen to make it a career. I don’t do it for anyone else – not for the awe, the shock value, or any of the other lame reasons people get pierced. I do it for me.
