Going Down 18 months ago

I’m hesitant to weigh myself but I think I’m still on track. I’ve been eating 5 small meals/day and tracking things. I usually go a little nuts on the weekend but nothing like I used to. I am seeing small differences starting with the stomach area (I lose here first). My legs also look a teeny bit better. I started body for life exercises this week. One goal is to lose this weight without pills or anything. Just eating right and exercising. So far, so good. I think I’m on track for my 130 goal for June 2. Then it’s on to 125 by June 22, hopefully building some muscle along the way!

Still going... 18 months ago

This process has been slow. I think I’m at 134 or so and in order to reach this week’s goal, I need to be 132 by Monday. The good news is that I started lifting/cardio again this week, along with callenetics. My cardio sessions are short though—only 20 mins. I now have the short term goal of losing 20 lbs by the 1st week of July (started end of April) and a long term goal of reshaping my body through weight training by next winter!
Bad news is that I ate 2 cheeseburgers, some chips, a donut and apple pie last weekend. Ugh. I don’t think I gained, but I certainly didn’t help things, either.

Getting there 18 months ago

I’ve made it through 3 weeks so far. I still have not officially weighed myself since my beginning weight. I am amazed that I’ve been able to resist temptation for this long but I’m determined. I have about 1200-1500 cals/day and it takes a lot of patience, because I haven’t seen any dramatic results. But just give me a few more months! dailyplate.com has been helpful because you really learn how much you need and actual calories in the junk everyone likes to eat! I have not stepped up my workouts. In fact, I’ve been quite lazy in that regard but I’m just trying to get this eating thing down! Next week I’m adding the workouts…
