Highly recommended. Different enough from the original to warrant a remake, but packs the same heart and soul. Great movie!

Stop buying things from Wal-Mart
You will not miss this despicable place. 3 years ago

For the sake of higher profits and higher profits only, Wal-Mart is tearing apart our society. Here’s how:

- Since they have accumulated a lot of power in the marketplace, they are FORCING manufacturers to make their goods available at a lower cost, so that Wal-Mart can “slash prices.”

- If the manufacturer disobeys, Wal-Mart punishes them by carrying less of their product for six months, inflicting financial pain on the manufacturer.

- To sell their goods to Wal-Mart at lower prices, manufacturers are closing U.S. plants and opening plants overseas where they don’t have to pay their workers as much.

- Wal-Mart “wins.” And Joe Consumer thinks he’s winning and feels great about all the “great deals” he gets from Wal-Mart.

- And soon Joe Consumer loses his job, which has moved to China.

- Hmmmmmm… was it really worth it?

- Not for Joe Consumer.

- Meanwhile, the Wal-Mart powers-that-be are watching all of this and laughing… all the way to the bank.

Sub-note: 80% of the goods sold at Wal-Mart now come from overseas. Don’t let memories of Wal-Mart’s “Made in the U.S.A.” campaign, which hasn’t been around in over a decade, fool you.

This company is power gone wrong.

I don’t think this is what it means “to all get along.”

Please join me in not shopping at Wal-Mart.

Thanks.

avoid hydrogenated oils (read all 2 entries…)
Highly recommend this!! 3 years ago

I feel tons better not eating foods with this crap in it. To hell with the big food companies that put this stuff in their foods… all for the sake of $—food products being able to sit on a shelf for 2 years instead of 2 weeks.

If you concur, spread the word!! This stuff is really bad for us. Google “hydrogenated oils” and become informed. Take control of your life and your health. It’s not that hard!
