For a short time I lived in a house that my sister and her husband built. It was a stone house with a huge, double-sided fireplace. Next to the fireplace the architect designed a small nook with a hole in the ceiling. The nook had a built-in ladder that lead to the second floor, into a secret space between the bedrooms of her two little boys. The secret passageway was perfectly designed for little boys and girls – no adults. But I was able to sneak inside one day and share a bit of magic with my nephews.

How I did it: I bought a really nice monocog bike in the fall - late summer really. It's been sitting in my house all winter. Yesterday happened to be relatively warm for the parts, AND it was a market day. So I saddled up and went. Read how I did it…
How I did it: It was a simple act of being honest with my partner and overcoming the fear of the unknown.I loved my wife - she was brilliant and I think she loved me. But there was no fire between us - it was all pretty much based on cold calculations about money, possessions and goals. Read how I did it…

Has anyone ever attempted walking on stilts on all fours? I was at the Oregon Country Fair back in the mid-nineties and there were these huge, awesome stiltwalkers dressed up like weird animals walking on four legs. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen on stilts. How did they do it?
I went back to school and got a degree in architecture. Getting the degree was great – I drew a lot, every day. But since graduating and working in a field dominated by computer graphics I’ve lost that rite of drawing daily. Thing is, it’s not that hard. And I’m not that bad, I guess. I just need to do it.
