Been way too addicted to facebook to have a real life. It’s getting in the way of my new general goals on self-improvement. So I’m going to wean myself off of facebook and limiting myself to one visit every 2 hours each not lasting more than 30 minutes and eventually get down to checking it only twice a day each not lasting 10 minutes.

This is a hard goal. I think the first step I need to take is stop building everything in my head to be a big deal and then scare myself out of trying new things. Experiences build knowledge and knowledge builds confidence. I need to allow myself to experience more and be exposed to more things. So I need to stop thinking everything is a big deal and build it up so big inside my head that I chicken out of doing things. That will just make me just feel like a big inexperienced coward, a self-esteem and confidence destroyer.
So, step one, tell myself “I can do it” or “this is doable” and stop myself from making excuses or thinking of unnecessary roadblocks.
