So, I recently signed a contract to write a book for a well respected technical publisher.. so I guess this is on its way!

Now all I have to do is write the thing…

It’s hard work, but the inherent beauty of the language and cultural appeal certainly make it worth it!

So, I’m learning Hindi. By “learning” what I mean, of course, is that I’m going through the initial stages by stumbling over the Devanagari alphabet like a fool.

But I’m lucky. I’ve already learned Arabic (and used it professionally), so I have a rough idea of how to go about this. What’s more is I have a teacher who taught himself the language, lived in India, and still uses it to this day.

So off I go!
