How I did it: I cancelled the satellite and read more. TV just draws you into watching it because it is on. There really is very little on it worth watching and it hinders the imagination. Read instead! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I exercised daily with at least 20 minutes on the treadmill, sometimes 40. I tracked my losses/gains with the Wii fit, which kept me accountable. Trying to lose the next 25lbs now! Read how I did it…
I actually finished 5 books this month, taking me to 40 for the year. 35 in the next 3 months might be asking too much. I’ll see how it goes! This month’s read were:
‘Albert Camus and the Minister’ – Howard Mumma
‘The Earth Hums in B Flat’ – Mari Strachan
‘The Help’ – Kathryn Stockett
‘The Man Who Created Narnia: The Story of C.S. Lewis’ – Michael Coren
‘Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood’ – Marjane Satrapi
One read this month – a graphic novel at that!
‘The Hobbit (graphic novel)’ – J.R.R. Tolkien, illustrated by David Wenzel
