Well, it’s been five weeks through the month of my goal. Just about half way I’d say, as I fell short by about 90,000 hits. Must be the summer months? Nah, it’s winter in Australia…

I’ll keep working at bringing better content to my visitors to further increase the traffic to my blog.

I have been in the fiber optic field since the late 80’s. During the boom of the mass network expansion through 1999-2003 years the pace, and the money, was incredible. New state every 60 days. Grueling days, long hours, where the norm, and plenty of hot cuts at night (12pm to 6am usually).

Not many last in this field due to the demand of travel but if you can your rewards are great. The knowledge learned in the feild is invaluable. No school will teach you the true skills needed to succeed. Hard work and dedication will do that for you.

Current technology is lending itself to the common end-user with FTTH (Fiber to the home) systems. This is the fastest moving part of the industry today, which is making the cable companies sit up and take notice.

Kudos goal!

I would really like to learn how to write great sales copy for my websites. The way I look at copywritng is this, since I own my own business who better to know what my customer’s main concerns are then myself.

I cannot see paying 100’s of thousands of dollars to have someone write copy for me when they have no clue what my business is about without researching it. At best their copy will be rehashed information redly available on the web. I already know price, performance, quality, reliability, efficiency, delivery and availability of my service so it stands to reason that I’m the best man for the job.

After all writing to sell is just making slight changes to things here and there in my copy and then test for performance right?
