I now am working in a job that requires a bachelor degree (I have that +). That’s it. We have an opening with our company and I have met tons of candidates that would do a superb job, but the lack of a degree has removed them from the running. It is so sad, as this piece of paper is just an arbitrary measure of accomplishment, but there it is. Get the paper, then go on and live your life.

We went to the big island. Someone else paid for the whole thing (best way to go) but we plan to go back. Loved the big island, not so many tourists, all the fun stuff. You can do nearly anything on the island from snow ski to water ski. The one thing that is a must is eating some ahi w/ wasabi and soy sauce. That alone makes the trip worth it, as it is the freshest ahi you will ever get. Awesome. The snorkling was good, as far as I can judge, the people were friendly. Make sure to book your trip to allow for a week’s worth of time to explore. You must rent a car, taxi’s are nasty expensive.
