So, when I did this in 2006 and 2007, I didn’t have a theme. I decided to have one this year though. I’m going to be writing most everything in list form. So, as someone put it on the blogathon forums put it, “maybe you should make a list about what to list.” So, yeah, I replied, and then I immediately started the list, so I didn’t forget.

Scheduling conflicts notwithstanding, I was approved. I’m blogging for Samaritan’s Purse I wrote a somewhat long-winded and link-filled post here, explaining everything.
Last month, just before we left for vacation, mom told me that her, and some of her work friends were going skydiving again. I asked her when, and she said “right away.” I thought this meant right away, like as in when we got back from our trip. So, when we were at dinner for my sister’s birthday, (6/17,) I asked again. She said , “I think it’s the 25th!” She said it in the way that people say things, when they mean “your not going to like this.” So, yesterday, she came over, and I asked her again. Her exact words: “they’re talking about the 25th, but I’m not sure.” OK, so there’s a reason I’m writing this, it’s in direct conflict with blogathon 2009, and this goal. A similar thing happened last year, in this case the date in question was July 26th. blogathon didn’t end up happening last year, so I was left with only 2 events in conflict, (my cousin’s wedding, and a church parking lot sail.) I chose my cousin’s wedding. Anyway, um, why does this have to happen every year? I think I’m going to tell my mom that she can have her skydive on the 25th… but I’m not going. I would gladly go if it were any other day, and I’ve already been twice before. The only problem with this, is that she most likely won’t be too happy about that. At the place we go to skydive it’s $189 for 6 people, but if you have less than 6, you have to pay more. She’s probably going to flip out when I tell her this, because this means that, they’ll probably have to pay more.
