run for office
I'm doing it. 17 months ago

I’m running for Secretary of State in Missoui.

I’ve been doing several candidate events every week and I’ve been loving every minute of it.

Lose 30 pounds
More Water, Less Sugar 17 months ago

I’ve been gaining weight like crazy lately. So I’ve decided to do something about it. I’m going to start by switching to drinking water only. No alchohol or soda. And I’m going to limit my daily carb intake to just a few servings.

I’m going to miss mountain dew and energy drinks… but they’re making me fat. I weighed my self today and I am up to 197… that’s really bad, because I was 187 just a month ago.

I don’t think it will be hard to change my diet completely, after all I was able to drop read meat completely out of my diet for about 5 years.

Hitchhike to Every State
Why would I want to do this? 17 months ago

There are a number of reasons. I think it’s good to let life be a journey about the experiences you have and the people you meet. What better way than to fast forward the process of meeting good strangers and making them good friends?

There are all kinds of people in different situations and I’d like to see what kind of conversation develops with completely random people and how those in different parts of America are different.

The entire journey should be part self-discovery, and part cultural study. What a better way to discover America, than to see it.

As far as the risk is concerned, I’m not at all worried. I believe people are generally good.
