My son and I went to the city humane shelter today to look at getting a cat, as they are currently running a promo for $10 adoptions thanks to a grant. We met a lovely slate grey classic (swirled) tabby kitten, 5 months old, who was very interested in playing with my eight year old. He gets checked by the vet tomorrow, and hopefully will come home Wednesday or Thursday of this week. My son has named him Mouse.
