How I did it: Thrilling experience of allowing myself to connect with others without editing my self / my words etc. I let go of all my food-related and other anxieties and enjoyed the moment. Enjoying conversations and activities with girlfriends without anxieties about food. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I got a consolidation loan, threw out the credit cards, and refused further offers of lines of credit. I'd been putting up with the large balances I'd accrued (largely through an overseas trip many yrs prior) but that pressure (accompanied by helplessness) was always in the back of my mind. My income had decreased (due to a career change) and my rent had increased at the time I started taking control: I guess these things prompted me… Read how I did it…
How I did it: This one's been on my 'list' since I was a teenager and, with another birthday coming up, I decided to tentatively suggest it to a couple of friends who were coming to visit for my birthday weekend. Think I secretly hoped they wouldn't say 'yes' but one said a hesitant but definite 'yes' and before I knew it we were booking and then paying and then up in a tiny plane and then (somewhat sooner than I'd expected) free falling from 1400… Read how I did it…

I want to complete the requirements for full professional registration after many many many years of study!
22 August 2008: I am now provisionally registered! Two years to achieving full registration.
22 October 2009: I have taken a break from pursuing this goal, in favour of sorting out some other priorities first. I was disappointed in myself at first, but actually feel like it’s important to be flexible enough to acknowledge when the goal I’m putting my energy into isn’t where my energy needs to go at that time. I will definitely still be pursuing this goal, but I’ll do so when the time is right for me.
March 2008: I want to be fit enough to enter into fun runs and actually run! I want to be fit enough to do energetic things in my spare time and not take a day to recover… things like kayaking, rock climbing, frisbee, running on the beach, team sports and so much more!
October 2009: Re-committing to this goal. I’ve entered a 5km fun run in November and will try to run as much of it as possible. I’ve started hanging out with people who are interested in fitness and the outdoors. Planning to build my running fitness in the coming months to participate in a number of fun runs in 2010 and beyond.
