our paperwork was completed – took 11 months after our wedding in 2010.
I landed in Germany, and drove home with my amazing husband, on November 6th 2011.
Amazing feeling to finally be by his side for more than a holiday.

How I did it: I was in the mall, I saw a sign in the window of the chemist saying "ear piercing done here" and I went in to ask if they did nose piercing, and they did.I sat in a little clean room and a lovely lady with wild red hair (natural - she was Scottish) came in and told me "brace yourself, so you don't jerk away - because THAT will hurt"3 second countdown and BLAMM it was over.I felt faint - there was no blood, no pain - I just react to things… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I sold my soul. I flew there. I kissed him. He kissed me. Now I wait another 365 days or more for him to get back from Iraq. Then I'll do it again. Maybe this time I'll get a little more time with him. Read how I did it…
