How I did it: I actually learned how to cook for love: so that I could make meals for my ex. At that time I lived in a dorm and didn't need to cook, and my mom never liked cooking and so she didn't teach me much. I found that I really enjoyed the process, and so long after that ex is gone I use and build on those cooking skills everyday. How I did it: I'd been wanting to switch to cloth pads for a long time because of the environmental impact of disposable ones. Finally, I noticed that the health/natural foods store was selling a Lunapads starter kit, so I bought it. I also bought a plastic bucket with a lid for soaking them after use. I’m having some bad neck pain, so I booked a massage today. And I bought tickets to visit my best friend over Thanksgiving, even though it seems pretty self-indulgent and I had felt like I had too much work to get away. But I going to try not to feel guilty and just enjoy it!
