How I did it: I had to start completely over after I moved out from the home I built with my ex. I moved in with my sister for what I thought was going to be a month. I ended up staying for 4 months before I moved out. The day that my temporary job ended, I got a phone call back with a job offer from an interview I had been on a month earlier. I took the job and a year later I still have it! After Ito moved out, I made friends with the other housemates… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I am in my third day of not smoking and I'm still a little scared but, phew, what a interesting experiment has been.I would say that one of the huge things in the past that has held me back from smoking was the fear of quitting smoking itself...and all the withdrawal symptoms that come along with the process. Basically, earlier this week I had to face my fears whether I wanted to or not. I came down to either buy another pack of cigarette… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I asked for a mentor who has been sewing for his entire life. He is well into his 60's now and has trouble with arthritis these days. It was wonderful for me to sit with him as he so intricatly used his expertise to teach me how to thread the machine properly. It was wonderful to share that with somebody who truely appreciates everything a sewing machine has to offer. He was very proud that I was interesting in learning his skill that he … Read how I did it…

It seems that between work and lack of money, the way to chip away at this goal is to take smaller road trips. My boyfriend and I went to New York City this past weekend and I went to New Jersey with my roommate a few months ago. While they both were not what I had in mind when I set my goal, it’s at least leaving small tastes until a bigger road trip gets planned.
So the question is always there, is it really worth it these days to get married? Probably not financially, but people I talk to seem to have mixed views on the subject. I think that it totally is worth it, even though when it happens for me, I’ll probably puke, since I hate being up in front of so many people at one time.
But I will say one thing, if he asks me, I’ll definitely say yes. I love my boyfriend through and through and would do almost anything for him.
Plus, I have some really fun ideas for a bachlorette party.
