I’ll be writing grants for the “Movin’ Beyond” program at Colorado Mountain Ranch this summer. The program focuses on working with at-risk teens and their families. I’ve worked for the Ranch before, but never in a grant-writing capacity, but I’m very excited!

Queer Theory
Perhaps I shouldn’t remove this from my list yet, since it’s very much an ongoing thing, and something I will be studying for years to come. Having read Eve Sedgwick, Judith Halberstam and Michel Foucault this semester has definitely opened my eyes to many things, and has given me a new theoretical framework through which to view the world. Now, if I can only come up with a synthesis of Marxist, feminist and queer theory… and other forms of intersectionality, for that matter…
Absolutely worth doing!

I’ve been a Wob for only six months, but I fully intend to remain active the rest of my life. In fact, I wanna organize for the IWW! I’m no Big Bill Haywood, but I’ll do what I can. ;)
