It is not all that long until I will be a full-fledged vet, and so now instead of needing to consider getting in to vet school and getting through vet school (okay, still need to consider that one a bit!), I need to really consider how I will practice, and how I will take the best care of my patients. This will of course be on-going and so not one of those goals that will ever get crossed off the list.

Well, I actually have three dogs, but only one who I think would enjoy agility. This summer we were in Vermont (see my other goal of moving back there as soon as possible!) and we were at a dog play place that had some agility equipment and my dog Q, who is a mix of some kind of herding dog and a yellow lab, seemed to “get” how to use some of the equipment without even being taught! We rescued her when she was a year old and so do not know what happened to her before then, but she has always been a little insecure (in the beginning, a lot insecure) and high energy and I think she wishes she could work on a farm or something. Anyway, I think it is something she would get a lot out of – use up her energy and build some self-esteem – and also I think it would bring me and her together even more (though some might say that would not be possible since we already so close!)
I signed up for a class that starts September 5th, now all I need to do is make sure that I keep that appointment, which occurs after I am back in school, which is when things usually start to fall by the wayside for me.
