MY KNEE IS A SWOLLEN MESS!!!! I live with an ice-pack. I hit the pool and avoid running as much as possible. I need new shoes.
I have completed a total of 600 training minutes. I should be around 900. This is not good. Damn knee. This is my rest week only 100 minutes then I slowly build up again to a grueling (for me the beginner triathlete) 245 minutes a week. Ouch. New shoes pronto. Tonight is a double night swim and bike. Only 20 min swim and a 20 min bike. It’s raining here so I’ll have to get to the gym. Ick I’d much rather hit the road. I am planning to do my first open water swim next weekend. I am looking forward to it. I love the beach and salt water it makes me happy. BUT It hasn’t been over 75 degrees here (air temp) so the water is a chilly 46 degrees. Always wanted to get hypothermia should be fun.
I decide I need to look “professional” at the race. So I go onto ebay and buy myself a wetsuit. I am scared I won’t be able to fit into it. Surprise, I can zip it shut. That’s cool. I also got a TRI-suit, like I said I have to LOOK “professional”. How it accentuates the camel toe is something no one should have to see.
Oh and I got my new shoes today. Yipppie!
