I guess technically I can’t become lactose intolerant due to an evolutionary trait in my DNA permitting me as much dairy as I could ever possibly consume. I’ve been known to drink a half-gallon of cold whole milk per day. I also eat quite a bit of hard and soft cheeses, drink buttermilk, curdled milk, whole cream, cultured creams, yogurts etc. People think it’s crazy but I’ll just leave milk out to “spoil”. Mmmmmmm… delicious chunky milk. It’s great in my anchovy sardine clam lobster fish soup. It’s good to have strong genes a slow heartbeat and a type O+ blood type. This is making me hungry. I’m going to go fetch a brick of moldy gorgonzola. You’ll see the entry about cholesterol. I probably should have it checked, but I eat barley so it’s probably all right.

I just about at the point where I’ll be getting on with the rest of my life. I am around 30 years old before now I never had a clue. I’ve never been provided with any type of leadership, orientation, or what have you. I have a great nuclear family and extended family and I love them all, but they are pretty much the most self-centered people I’ve ever known. I grew up alone, abandoned, without attention, without money, or anyone else my age. I was beaten and punished severely for the most benign violations you could ever imagine—like the time I was maybe 12 or 13 and was sumarily forbidden from ever getting a drivers license. They stuck to it and the day I turned 18 I went and got it myself. To the system I was throw away child who has grown into a totally self-made man. A man who has never committed a crime or hurt anybody his whole life.
So, you’re probably wondering how am I going to get on with the rest of my life. I recently graduated with a history degree after going to school part time for 10 years, but nobody seems to think I can be teacher. They don’t realize of course in that time frame I’d be working full-time, and off fighting wars, traveling to 13 countries, and 26 states. I like life abroad. They provided me with purpose and so I’ll reward them. I’m going to go get a degree, I can now get for free thanks to being a war veteran, in English and Writing and teach in some 3rd world country nobody else gives a shit about.
I’ve been going to Mass. It was a little strange at first. I had become lapse when I began going overseas with the Armed Forces. Most of the time we weren’t really offered too much of a choice. I now realize it’s an irremoveable part of my ethnic identity. It’s good to be back.
