I made it to the halfway mark. Now, however, I am a full time housewife. I should do better in 2008!

I would mark this done when I reached a certain number, and then I pass that and I change my goal. It’s been over 200 days, so I guess I’m going for the full 365.
I’ve been doing another fun daily photo project (that sometimes overlaps with my “picture a day” set) of daily self portraits. I’ve kept up with that, without missing a day, for 82 days.
I’m at a stage of repacking stuff into one or two boxes. It’s essentially done. Still, it took nearly a year, haha.
Vegan chocolate chip cookies, recipe from here. I’m going to have to try more recipes, but they were pretty yummy, if a bit flaky and time consuming to make.
In September I go in for the second, and the third will be in 2008.
The needle was pretty tiny, hardly felt it at all, the shot itself, burned down my arm and kept doing so until as I was leaving the office.
I’ve made a few projects, but I don’t feel comfortable with the sewing machine yet. I still have the most fun hand sewing little felt and sock dolls. I’m still intimidated and I need to get over it because I already spent $300 on a sewing machine.
I’m going to say I’m at $200 right now. I have money saved up for getting my teeth fixed, but this $1000 is for something fun. Depending on how easy it is to do I’ll up it to $2000 and say that it’s for my future Disney World Vacation and a DSLR camera to document it. & that is that.
I did this a while ago, but now I need to go through all of my clothes and decide what can go. It’s a lot. I bought more clothes today, but they’re clothes I like as opposed to the clothes I got when I was 15. I really need to sort through them and take them to Goodwill.
I’ve kept it up for 100 days, and yet can’t make myself count it as done. Anyway, it’s absolutely worth doing. It’s fun to make mundane everyday things seem interesting.
I spent all day cooking & baking. In the end I had 10 cupcakes, a chocolate cake, chickpea and spinach curry, sweet potato fries and toasted sesame asparagus. It was really good and well worth it.

In bed, yet on the internet. Got a wireless router. It was incredibly difficult to get it hooked up properly, but that is that. I’m might go into this further in the future in the hopes that no one else has to go through the past 24 hours of computer confusion and headaches that I have had.
Not marking this as worth it yet because… well, wireless is famously flighty and I might really hate it.
is spring break. We’re thinking of going to Silver Dollar City, which is hoky, but we like theme park fun, it’s quite a part of us, and Tulsa spring break is the week after Branson Schools Spring Break and the week before Springfield Schools Spring Break so we’re hoping it won’t be overcrowded… We’ll see how it all pans out. Our Spring Break will be March 17-23. I was thinking one day of Silver Dollar City, one day of something else hoky in Branson and then maybe something else fun in Missouri that isn’t too far… I want to go to thrift stores because I have heard a rumor they’re better in Missouri.
I just have to take them to the post office and get stamps. It took a long time to make them all! My back hurts, it was worth it… I think!
I bought a pack of 50 blank cards. I figured out exactly what I’m going to write in them. Now I’m waiting on a list from Shaun’s mom of people she thinks I should send them to on that side of the family.
basically everything I could reach without a ladder. Then I walked around the yard picking up trash that gets blown in/dropped by school kids walking by. I discovered that there is a dog who evidently thinks our yard is the bees knees of bathrooms.
My hands are swollen from winding lights and trying to cram them back into their boxes, why does that never work? I guess because they want us to buy things to store our lights on. I should take a trick that my mother-in-law does and wind them around rolls of newspaper, except we don’t have any newspaper. Oh well. I’ll have a mess to deal with next year. Such is life.
