I was really resisting having to do this, I have this ideal of being able to maintain my weight and health with outdoor activities like running, swimming, etc.
But I finally acknowledged that that simply wasn’t happening. So I signed up and will try to make some progress there.

I just got a phone call inviting me to witness the belt test for my former fellow classmates, who will be promoted to green belt. I find that it hurts, even though it was my choice to drop out.
Gotta get over that, and get my butt in gear again.
I spent so much money and time to get the tattoo, and then I let my hair grow, and grow, and grow. Now the hair is down to my butt, and I love it, but my tattoo is practically invisible.
I miss the feeling of the wind on my head, the freedom of not having to wash or brush any hair, the attention I get for being a woman without hair.
What’s keeping me from doing it is a lack of confidence and the hostility I receive at work. I feel overweight and sluggish, but I’m tackling that with my other goals. And work, well, there’s a point where you just have to ignore such ignorance.
So, hopefully, I’ll be able to shave my head this summer.
