How I did it: I set up my guitar in a way that made it comfortable and more fun to play, got a capo so that I could change keys and sing along, and concentrated much more on learning songs than on learning techniques, which was so key! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I like how this site has helped me organize my goals in increments. I started out with 3 miles and then 4. It followed that my next goal would be 5-- I just knew I had one more mile to go. I also got used to running four miles at a pop inside and outside. How I did it: I exercised about 4-5 times a week-- mostly treadmill, some outside runs and some xtraining. I vary my workouts and change my speed and sometimes elevation to keep going.
