Finish the songs I've started
Procrastination, lack of focus, and dire need for discipline 3 years ago

It’s true: any creative endeavor takes work. WORK. ugh. There’s goes the fun of it. I’ve been thinking quite idealistically about my music over the past 10 years or so. I don’t know any music theory and I taught myself guitar, so I don’t know how to write down any of my songs (except for chord grids, of course). I just sit down in front of a mic, put my headphones on, strap on my geetar, and start singing. Songs erupt, ebb, flow, and form themselves. I record each of these occurances, the result being well over one hundred tapes laying areound the room my basement I call a studio. Nothing is completed…Every thing sits as scattered as my own thoughts—fragmented and forsaken. These aspiring songs need a home, they need to take shape. But now? I can’t focus on any one song for more than a couple days. I’m struggling to get a full set together so I can start performing out more again. I’ve been offered many opportunities, but I can never seem to organize myself enough to get anything done. AACCCK!!!
