I got braces when I was 26. I asked my orthodontist to take my braces off because I had a hot date and did NOT want them on. He laughed at me and said “No, and if he doesn’t like you because you have braces then don’t go out with him.” Well, the date went fine, in fact, we’ve been together for 20 years and married for 17 of them!
P.S. My teeth still look good, although, one of my front teeth sticks out slightly. You have to wear those retainers for the rest of your life when you get braces as and adult, otherwise they will shift.

I have resorted to this treatment out of desperation for vertigo and honestly, it helped me more than all of the other things I tried.

It’s hard to do but when you finally do it, it puts your life in forward motion. You get stuck when you don’t forgive. You just keep playing the same old things in your head. It took me three years because I finally got tired of the way I felt. Not sleeping, ruining a perfectly good moment with ugly thoughts and just not being in the present time. The list goes on and on. It’s been five days since I took action and I feel better than I’ve felt in a long time, like my old self. It’s just a relief to not have to carry resentment around with me all the time.
